Partner Terms of Service
Terms governing your use of the ProFixer partner platform and acceptance of customer jobs in Mumbai MMR.

These Partner Terms of Service (“Partner Terms”) are a binding agreement between you (“Partner”, “you”, “Professional”) and ProFixer.in (“ProFixer”, “we”, “us”) when you apply to, register on, or use our partner platform, mobile application, or related tools to receive home-service job leads in India.
By submitting a partner application, creating an account, or accepting any job through ProFixer, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Partner Terms, our Partner Privacy Policy, Code of Conduct, Payout Policy, and Job & Cancellation Policy.
1. Who we are and what ProFixer provides
ProFixer operates a technology platform that connects households and businesses with independent home-service professionals for trades including electrical work, plumbing, air-conditioning service, appliance repair, cleaning, carpentry, painting, RO/water purifier service, and related categories (“Services”).
ProFixer is a marketplace, not an employer. You provide Services as an independent contractor or sole proprietor. Nothing in these Partner Terms creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship. You control when you go online, which jobs you accept, and how you perform work—subject to platform rules and customer safety.
2. Eligibility and onboarding
To join, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age and legally permitted to work in India;
- Hold valid skills and experience for the trade(s) you register;
- Provide accurate identity and contact information (Aadhaar, PAN, or other KYC as requested);
- Maintain a smartphone with data connectivity and a bank account in your name for payouts;
- Pass our verification call and any background or document checks we reasonably require.
We may approve, suspend, or reject applications at our discretion. False information is grounds for immediate deactivation.
3. Your obligations when performing jobs
When you accept a ProFixer job, you agree to:
- Arrive within the agreed time window and communicate delays promptly;
- Inspect first, explain scope and pricing before starting non-standard work, and obtain customer consent for add-ons;
- Use appropriate tools, follow applicable electrical/plumbing/safety norms, and comply with society gate, ID, and quiet-hour rules;
- Treat customers and their property respectfully—no smoking, alcohol, or harassment on site;
- Issue or support digital invoices/receipts as per platform process;
- Honour workmanship standards described in our Code of Conduct.
4. Pricing, payments, and platform fees
Job rates are displayed in the partner app based on category, scope, and location. You see the payable amount before accepting a job. ProFixer may charge a platform fee, convenience fee, or commission as disclosed in the Payout Policy.
Customers typically pay through ProFixer-approved channels. Off-platform payments (asking customers to pay cash or UPI directly to bypass the platform for a ProFixer-assigned job) are prohibited unless we expressly allow it in writing. Violations may lead to suspension and forfeiture of pending payouts related to the breach.
5. Payouts
Payout timing, deductions, chargebacks, and disputes are governed by the Partner Payout Policy. You are responsible for your own taxes, including GST registration where applicable under Indian law.
6. Cancellations, no-shows, and job rejections
Rules for accepting, cancelling, or rescheduling jobs are set out in the Partner Job & Cancellation Policy. Repeated no-shows, last-minute cancellations, or poor ratings may reduce job offers or lead to deactivation.
7. Ratings, quality, and deactivation
Customers may rate your service. We may monitor complaint rates, rework requests, and safety incidents. We may warn, restrict categories, pause payouts pending investigation, or permanently deactivate partners who:
- Commit fraud, theft, or violence;
- Repeatedly violate these Partner Terms or the Code of Conduct;
- Misrepresent skills or subcontract jobs without approval;
- Receive consistently low ratings or unresolved quality disputes.
8. Insurance and liability
You are responsible for your own tools, vehicle, and personal insurance. ProFixer does not provide employee benefits, workers’ compensation, or professional indemnity cover unless explicitly stated in a separate written agreement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, ProFixer is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your performance of Services. You indemnify ProFixer against claims arising from your negligence, wilful misconduct, or breach of these Partner Terms while on a ProFixer-assigned job.
Customers book you based on platform information; you remain solely responsible for the quality and legality of work you perform.
9. Intellectual property and confidentiality
ProFixer logos, app design, rate cards, and training material are our property. You may use approved branding only as permitted. Customer addresses, phone numbers, and job details are confidential—use them only to fulfil the booking, not for unsolicited marketing.
10. Non-solicitation and non-circumvention
For twelve (12) months after your last ProFixer-assigned job with a customer, you agree not to solicit that customer to book identical home services entirely off-platform where the introduction came through ProFixer, if such circumvention would avoid platform fees. This does not prevent you from serving customers you already had a documented relationship with before joining ProFixer.
11. Changes to these Partner Terms
We may update these Partner Terms. Material changes will be notified via the app, email, or SMS. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance. If you disagree, stop accepting jobs and request account closure.
12. Governing law and disputes
These Partner Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Thane, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to mandatory consumer-protection forums where applicable.
We encourage good-faith resolution through our partner support channel before formal proceedings.
